Laboratory Tests
Fluid Samples – Hair is obtained in the office and sent to the aboratory for evaluation. Blood for food allergy testing is drawn in the office but evaluated by our preferred laboratory. Most blood samples are drawn by the lab directly (CPL, Quest, and Lab One). Stool and saliva samples are obtained by the client in the privacy of their home and sent to the lab directly by the client.
Hormone Assessment and Replacement Therapy (Lab) – for menopause, perimenopause, thyroid disorders, adrenal fatigue, loss of sex drive, general hormone dysfunction symptoms. Assessments evaluate levels and ratios of cortisol, DHEA, testesterone, pregesterone, estradiol, and electrolytes.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (Lab) - for mineral balances and ratios. Performed by Trace Elements.
Vitamin, Amino Acids, Mineral and Antioxidant Analysis (Lab) – Performed by Spectracell Laboratories. This is a functional intracellular analysis of your body with nutrient repletion recommendations.
Food Allergy Testing (Lab) – for identification of immediate and delayed food sensitivities. Includes Gluten sensitivity.
Airborne Allergy Testing (Lab) – for identification of airborne allergens.
Candida Overgrowth – (Lab) for measurement of candida overgrowth.
Heavy Metal Testing (Lab) – for heavy metal toxicity. Heavy metal toxicity is frequently the result of long term, low level exposure to pollutants common in our environment: air, water, food, and numerous consumer products. Further affected by the number of mercury fillings in your teeth and your personal exposure to pesticides.
Blood Chemistry (Lab) - Health-conscious people want a better standard of care, so we provide a comprehensive array of over 50 blood chemistry tests. Regular testing can help us detect problems early, correct imbalances, and help you attain optimal health.
Gastrointestinal Assessments - Assessments of gastrointestinal function include the renowned Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis and several other tests and panels yielding important information about the ecology of the GI tract, yeast presence, immune function, parasite activity, specific intolerances, Helicobacter infection, and vaginal health.
